RP reader Ananya Shah kills it at National History Day

I just got a text a little bit ago from my longtime friend Peta Lindsay, who is at the National History Day event in Chicago. While there, she met an amazing young woman named Ananya Shah, who, inspired by the Rejected Princesses entry on Ida B Wells (an entry Peta advised me on!), did a solo performance entitled  “Encountering Our National Crime: Ida B. Wells Anti-Lynching Exchange.”

According to Peta, Shah’s performance was, quote, “AMAZING.”

Well done, Ananya – and thanks for being a reader! If you have any Twitter account or something you’d like me to link to with this post, contact me and let me know!
