(what's a "Modern Worthy"? click here to find out!)
Pauli Murray was an architect of two of the most important social-justice movements of the twentieth century. Why isn’t she better known?

Pauli Murray helped construct the arguments for Brown v Board of Education and Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s anti-gender discrimination decision in Reed v Reed. She was also queer, possibly trans, and ended up becoming a priest – all in all, a fascinating human being who doesn’t get enough press.
