Barbie Has Some Royal Competition In Nigeria : Code Switch : NPR

The Queens of Africa are based on Nigeria’s three largest groups – Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa – and each have traits meant to empower the girls who play with them.

These look great. Amazing stuff. If anyone is interested in other diverse dolls, I have read good things about the Hearts For Hearts Girls.
