Art Notes

The two sides of the image are mirrors of one another, with each positioned on the side of which direction they traveled.

On Elizabeth’s side, there’s the runaway train, the boat troubles, her burnt-down house, and the agent walking up to her with the false news that her ship had already left.

On Nellie’s side are skiiers escaping from peril from being snowed in; her own boat troubles; the asylum where she staged her daring expose; the sailor who’d made unwanted advances on her, and McGinty, her ill-tempered monkey.

Elizabeth and Nellie are both pictured in the outfits they set out wearing (Nellie’s became famous!), with the exact number and model of bags each were carrying.

If you were a Patreon backer,
you'd be seeing some cool stuff right here.

There's alternate versions, reference imagery, and timelapse videos for everything on here. But it's not too late - you can still become a backer! If you already are one, you can log in here!
(if you've bought one of the books, you get a month free of behind-the-scenes access - get that started here!)
