(what's a "Modern Worthy"? click here to find out!)
Jeanne Córdova, an activist, author and publisher whose magazine, the Lesbian Tide, chronicled the lesbian feminist movement of the 1970s, has died. She was 67.

Ms. Córdova’s lesbian & feminist activism spanned several decades, and with her bequeathal of $2 million to the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice her work will continue even with her death.
